We made it to LEVEL 2!!

Both girls were moved to level 2 care last night, this is the section for growers and feeders. They will stay there while they learn to eat and the get bigger. Once they accomplish these goals they should be able to go home. Caroline is up to 4lbs 7oz and Juliette is 4lbs 5oz!!! They are growing, but still learning how to eat correctly. Juliette is bottle feeding everytime, but sometimes she gets tired and forgets to breath, this is normal for a baby this age, but very scary. This is why she needs time to practice, she will grow out of it and learn to remember she needs to suck, swallow and breath all at the same time. We may see Caroline do the same once she starts feeding everytime. For now Caroline is doing well with bottle feeding two times a day, I am hoping they will bump her up to 3 times a day soon. They are both in warmers, but Juliettes is circulating regular room air temp while Caroline's is still being warmed. That is our progress for now.
