4 months old on Saturday April 11th.

We went to the girls 4 month check up on Thursday and the doctor said they were doing very well and look great. She even surprised me by telling us we could start them on cereal. I wasn't a bit prepared for that. I went to work that evening (3-11) and then as I thought about it I realized I didn't have anything to feed them cereal with or have any idea how to feed them cereal. So on Friday I was off and I read the material I was sent home with and bought the necessary supplies and around 500pm we gave it a try. Much to my surprise both the girls did very well. We started with Caroline first. I followed the instructions on the papers I was given on how to mix it and hers was very watery. When I mixed Juliette's I made it a little thicker and it was better. I took video and pictures (I have posted below). A lot of people told me to be prepared for funny faces, but they actually liked it for the most part. I guess we will have to wait for funny faces when we start introducing fruits and veggies.

Their current weights are Caroline 12lbs 2oz and Juliette 11lbs 7oz. They are sleeping through the night now so they are not eating as much and so their weight did not jump up as much as it has in the past. I am still pretty proud of them.

This past weekend was quite busy. On Saturday we drove to Waco, which was Randall's 33rd birthday. On Sunday we went to church. This was the first time we have taken the girls to church and we were a bit nervous on how things would turn out. Especially since the girls were due to eat right when we got there. Thanks to a smooth car ride they fell asleep on the way and we were able to carry the into the church with out any problem. The service had already started and everyone was meeting and greeting each other. Coincidentally there was a set of fraternal twins sitting in the pew in front of us. A boy and girl, 5 years old. They were so cute dressed in their Easter outfits with coordinating colors. Their mom saw our girls and was excited to see another set of twins and quickly pointed them out. The little girl sat with her eyes glued on the girls the whole time, just fascinated with them. She was so cute. The little boy was not as curious, but would look back occasionally. Juliette woke up not too long after that and I fed her, she did very well. Usually they like to fall asleep after eating, but she was much too fascinated by all the lights and the beautiful choir singing. She stayed awake the whole time, looking around, smiling and cooing. Randall fed Caroline and of course she stayed asleep. We enjoyed it very much. After church we went to Darren and Christine's house for a delicious meal. It was a great day. Our 2 year anniversary was on Tuesday the 14th which is the day we were driving home. So on Monday Ruth and Walter were very kind and stayed home with the girls and Randall and I went to dinner and a movie to celebrate. It was nice to be baby free and spend some time together. Ruth and Walter also enjoyed their time with the girls. Tuesday we drove home from Waco to home and the girls slept the whole time. I was so glad we did not get stuck in traffic or stop to feed them.

That is all for now. Enjoy the pics.
